Azam is the founder, designer, and hands behind Fashion Mery. For over two decades she has drafted patterns, sculpted corsets, and dressed clients who wanted far more than off-the-rack — building a small atelier around a simple belief: that a dress should be designed around the person who wears it.
Her work spans exclusive one-off designs, hand-beaded embroidery, structured corsetry, and bridal gowns finished stitch by stitch. Every piece begins with a conversation and ends with precision — measured, drafted, and finished by a maker who has done it thousands of times.

Absolutely. A reference image, a screenshot, or a rough sketch is the perfect starting point. We use it as the seed and refine from there until the design is truly yours.
Do you make the finished dress, or only the pattern? +
Both. I can draft and hand-finish the complete garment, or deliver a ready-to-sew pattern so you (or your seamstress) can make it. Many clients start with consulting and decide along the way.
How do the digital patterns work? +
You receive a print-at-home or print-shop PDF with clear instructions and size grading. Everything is professionally drafted, so the pieces fit together cleanly and sew up true to measure.
How does AI fit into your design process? +
I use AI purely as a source of inspiration — to explore next-generation ideas, silhouettes, and details early on, so we can land on something truly unique. Every final design is drafted and finished by hand; the technology sparks imagination, it never replaces the craft.
